This pool is truly amazing! It has truly spoiled me for other pools everywhere! I have to say, the sand bottom is what makes me love it the most. The pool area is HUGE. I think 3 acres? There are waterfalls, a whirlpool, a "quicksand" spot, waterslide, lazy river, hot tubs, etc. The waterslide is great! Looks very simple from the outside, but when you get on it - it is quick and has a couple of great turns. Where you pop out is the area near the whirlpool. You can just walk into and then get swept away. There is a little section near here where you can get away for a little solitude and a small beach area with some chairs. If you go down the center, you will be next to the little stand where you can buy tubes, noodles, sunscreen, pails, etc. After you go under the bridge, there is a big section where you can have a nice waterfall massage your back! There are little ledges along this area to sit on and relax. If you climb up the stairs, you will find 2 hot tubs hidden in the flowers! If you get out at the far end, you can get right back in to another pool section or directly into the lazy river. You can rent a tube for this or just float on your own. If you get out of this section, you can get to the "beach" area that is really more for kids. It's all sand and maybe about 2-3 feet of water? There are tons of lounge chairs - get there early!!- and tables and chairs to sit at. The tables all have umbrellas. The chair section goes from the Beach Club section all the way to the Yacht Club side. But if you get there around 12 or 1, it's hard to find a chair. You must show your room card to get in and go get a towel. They have places to dump your wet towels when done. There are bathrooms all over the place, as well as food options. There are waitresses that go around to take orders if you don't want to go get food yourself. Great pool - the water is always warm! Lots of lifeguards and activities played daily for the kids. Bingo, water games, trivia, etc. Lots of fun. You could easily spend an entire day there and still not want to leave.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): fun and very pretty Cons: it was closed half the time we were there because of thunder
the pool was absolutely gorgeous, however, any sign of thunder they close it which in florida...it thunders all the time in the summer. another small issue they should address is the underwater pipes. its a sand bottom pool but when there is too much pool activity the sand gets pushed all over and the pipes get exposed. they definilty hurt when you step on them or trip over them. we saw many kids cry the days we were there.

We stayed at the Beach Club Villas over Columbus Day weekend, and used the pool almost every day.
On Day 1, just as I wanted to go swimming it started pouring and thundering. It eventually stopped and I was able to go in. I used a hot tub by the Yacht Club for a little while. I explored the sinking sands area, and swam around the lazy river. I also went down the slide, and nearly lost my top! The slide seams were a bit painful.
Day 3, I took a pool noodle and did the lazy river again and enjoyed the sinking sands some more.
Day 4, more of the same.
Day 5, Mom finally joined me at the pool! We had fun in the whirlpool area and I also went down the slide again.
The pool was nice, but really, water is water and I can cool off and have fun just as well at a value resort pool.
