Positive aspects of the product (pros): Very large shell shaped pool, slighlty heated, flows into 3 sections. The left side has mostly young families and is closest to the sandy beach, the main section has a wonderful waterfall, 15' slide though rocks, and a very large 5.5' depth swimming area, Cons: none
I would rate the YC/BC SAB #1 and the S/D Grotto pool #2, you can pick who would be #3 pool.
The Grotto pool opens at 9 AM and closing time depends on the season. They sometimes show movies at the pool and you can either sit in the pool on a float or be dry in a chair next to the pool to see the movie. The Grotto pool is very large and you will never feel crowded in the Grotto pool.
There is a pool 'shack', with a S/D ID, you can get pool towels and flotation vests for free and rent pool toys and floats.
The S/D also has a kiddie pool, lap pool, hot tub and a large quiet pool by the Swan to use.
You will love the S/D Grotto pool.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): big, many features Cons: keeping kids "in sight"
My kids and I loved this pool area. It is much more than just a pool. The waterfalls & slide add atmosphere and fun. The kids loved the squirting seal and playground. The swan boats were charming and there were plenty of life jackets and towels. It had a great vibe and people were very friendly. I only wish the water was a bit warmer! It is also so big that keeping all the kids in view was challenging at times
