Blizzard Beach opened April 1, 1995. Of the two water parks, Blizzard Beach is usually the most crowded because it's the newest and has better slides. Typhoon Lagoon has awesome theming, a great wave pool, and a shark reef, but Blizzard Beach has the real thrill slides, making it one of the top water parks in the country.
