a little bit lower on the list among charcter meals. If your kids are into these characters then it is worth it. Little Einstein characters can also be found in the courtyard by playhouse disney.

A few years ago, my daughter was a big fan of Jo-Jo & Goliath and thought the Einsteins were okay. We went because she loved Jo-Jo! The food was good, it was breakfast and I think its really hard to screw that up. The food was hot and plentiful. We were able to meet all the characters and they did some dances with the kids in the center of the restaurant. It was all I had anticipated.

We had heard mixed reviews about this restaurant, but decided to keep the ADR because it featured several characters my kids really liked. We were very happy we did, it turned out to be one of our favorites during the trip for character interaction and the food was good as well.
I tend to like a larger mix of breakfast items that revolve around meat, so I was all set here. I had sausage patties, bacon, corned beef hash, and biscuits & gravy. I added on some tater tots, oven roasted potatoes and eggs. Overall it was a decent breakfast with all the items I had being good. DW had taters as I did and also made a breakfast burrito. They had tortillas and toppings –salsa, sour crème, cheese and others – to make your own style burrito. She really like that option as it let her make it to her tastes.
The kids naturally wanted tater tots and ketchup. My son wanted some sausage and my daughter wanted some fresh fruit and some waffles. The tater tots here were crispy and warm as they should be. The sausage had good flavor and was cooked well. It was mild enough that that the kids could easily eat their fill.
The fresh fruit my daughter had was much like the other Disney buffets we visited so far and was very good – cool and sweet. She also has pancakes with syrup, which were also good.
The best reason to come to this breakfast is the fun kids have with the characters. Jo Jo and Goliath from Jo Jo's Circus and June and Leo from the Little Einstein’s make their rounds to the tables to have individual pictures with the kids and to sign autographs.
However, that is only part of the fun; the best part is when the cast member leader organizes a dance type event for all the kids. My daughter seemed to take this as her “cue” to become one of the cast members and performed right up there with them and the characters for all the other kids and adults. They spent a good amount of time with the kids, at least 10-15min of dancing and singing in the 45-60 minutes we were there.
This was one of our more successful and fun breakfast character dining reservations during our trip. The food was good, there was a decent variety and the entertainment value was awesome. We all had a great time and will be back again during our next trip

This place is our favorite character meal in WDW, but only because our child is a huge fan of Playhouse Disney. If your kid does not love the Little Einsteins or Jojo ... well, at least enjoy the breakfast. Mickey waffles, yum.

I honestly don't remember much about the meal, but then again, that is not why I went here. My daughter loves the Little Einsteins and was starstruck the entire meal. I had a great time watching her have a great time and plan on going back when my second daughter is old enough.

Good food and great character interation if your kids like Playhouse Disney! We had a great time...the characters really hammed it up with our 2 older children(9 and 12) and our 4 year old loved Jo Jo and Goliath.
Finally.... a good choice at the Studios but I wish they would do a Toy Story or Pixar Character meal.

I was very pleased at H&V for an evening meal. This was not a character meal but it was part of the Fantasmic dinner package--which I recommend!
The service was among the best our family experienced. We visited on May 31, 2009, which was a Star Wars weekend.
The food variety was excellent. The dessert bar was very fresh and was replenished readily.

My kids are more HSM age so did not do character breakfast instead opting for dinner with Fantasmic seating. Unless I missed them, I do not believe there were characters there for dinner, could be wrong though. I really liked it here because it gave us the rare opportunity to eat healthy. Plenty of fresh and cooked veggies and lean chicken. I think that fact alone make it worth a stop to to take a break from the heavy, fattening, greasy food you end up eating all week at Disney.

I ate here for dinner once and it wasn't that good. The food wasn't my favorite, and for a buffet there wasn't the biggest selection. But the waitress was quick and we got a Fantasmic package for eating here.

I wouldn't recommend this event, unless you have kids that are just die hard JoJo or Little Einstein fans. The food was okay, but the characters took forever. We finally left after waiting well over an hour and never even saw the Little Einsteins. Yes, there are little pep rally kind of things in the center, but my kids are not into that kind of thing. If yours are, you might have better results. Kids did not really eat very much here because it was so very, very chaotic. I won't say it is horrible, but if I am going to spend a lot of money on a character meal, I will do it elsewhere.

Maybe we had a bad experience but this was not a good lunch. We thought that our little ones (2 yrs & 1 yr) would love seeing Leo and June, and they did, once they finally came around to see us. Our server was rushing us through the meal, and was almost rude at points. We had a late 2:15 ADR and we still had to wait an extra 15 minutes before we were seated. The food was pretty good though, but not worth it!

My son is a hugs Little Einstein fan so this was a must-do for us. The characters were fantastic and spent a lot of time with each table. The sing-a-long was loads of fun and the two cast members really worked to include all the kids. It is a comfy place and the layout is good - no running into characters near the buffet line. It is a diner so it is loud and bright so I wouldn't call it relaxing. Our server was conscientious and quick but all the staff seemed a little frazzled or rushed. We would definitely go again if Leo and June are there. One thing to note is that Jo-Jo and Goliath haven't been on the air in a while. My son barely remembered them and Goliath is HUGE. We had 5 character meals during our trip and the only one he was afraid of was Goliath.

Our kids love it for breakfast. We went in September so the characters were always at our table. Most of the pictures I have are of the kids with full mouths hugging characters. The food was good and the selection was nice. The kids and dad had a great time with the dancing. we will go back until Goliath is no longer entertaining and cuddly to the kids.

Little kids into little einsteins love the breakfast here...and I think the breakfast buffet is great and full of variety. Don't be misled though. The characters aren't here for dinner, and the dinner buffet is typical American that you can likely get closer to home. If you want a real Disney dinner (buffet or otherwise), go somewhere else.

We have eaten at Hollywood and Vine in the past for breakfast and the food was okay. I debated booking this but did so because Handy Manny has been added to the cast and DS 3 is a huge fan. The food was very poor quality and tasted reheated. We arrived before the park open and although they told us both sides of the buffet were open only one side was. This created a lot of congestion ando they were consistently out of Mickey Waffles. The character interaction is great but we will not be returning as the food is disgusting.

We ate at Hollywood and Vine for dinner, not a character meal. We were reluctant as the character meal food a few years ago was awful! For dinner, the service was excellent and the food, which was a buffet, was really good. Fresh, hot, and constantly replenished. I wouldn't recommend the character meal, but the dinner - especially considering we were a last minute walk-in Christmas week, was well worth it.

Not sure why this had mediocre reviews. We went for breakfast and I liked the food, especially the cheese grits. I went in early May, and the place was not packed, so lots of character interaction and quick service from the staff. They have Special Agent Oso and Handy Manny now, not JoJo and Goliath. It was our kids (age 3 years and 18 months) favorite meal of the trip.

We attended the character breakfast. The restaurant was not crowded at all (I know why now). The characters were able to make it around a few times and my children loved the chracters here. The food however was terrible. I did not find one food item I enjoyed. If your children like the Disney junior chracters then this is a must do. If they dont then definitely SKIP!

We are 2 adults. No children. We went for dinner. I was looking forward to the prime rib but, it was uneatable. I guess we were a later rerservation and the food looked left over. They didn't want to bring out a new piece of meat so they just served the end of a piece that was full of fat and grissle. The service was fine but, there were only a few people there so, it shouldn't have been hard to keep up. This was Sept. I liked the art work but, not so much the big open room full of tables. Would I go again? Probably not now that I've been there and done that. There are better places to eat in HS.

A nice variety of food laid out in a simple manner. The experience would remind you of an 'old fashioned diner' with the layout of things. The buffet line did seem to go a bit slow but that has more to do with the abundance of items than with quality of the diner. We had reservations that included seating at the Fantasmic show. This was a great idea. Would definitely do it again if given the chance. It would be nice to see the Fantasmic when it WASN'T raining though! lol

My 11 year old son and I ate breakfast here, as it is the only place you can have a table service breakfast at Hollywood Studios. I didn't know these characters and my son wanted nothing to do with them, but the little kids in the restaurant were having the time of their lives. When the characters did pass our table, they did make us chuckle. The food is terrific here. This was one of the few places you could eat where the waffles were actually soft, as opposed to the cold, hard as rocks waffles at some of the other restaurants. There was a decent selection of food items and everything was tasty. The place was loud, but tolerable. I wouldn't suggest coming here for peace and quiet, but if you don't mind the noise, this place is worth it. It wasn't as busy as I expected it to be either. The service was fantastic too.

Sorry, but I thought this place was GROSS. Maybe they were just busy all day (don't know). HOWEVER I thought it was FILTHY, had to across the whole restaurant for bathroom which is shared with ANOTHER restaurant. Not convenient with lil kids.

I was nervous about going to this restaurant because I had heard horrible reviews. I was very pleasantly surprised. We went to the evening buffet, for the Fantasmic package. I thought that the food was good, with lots of good options and very tasty. We also liked the dessert options. We thought the service was very good as well. We booked Hollywood and Vine for an early dinner (3:45pm). We did the Fantasmic Dinner package which was the same price as the meal alone, one we were able to get special seating at Fantasmic. I went in expecting the food to be terrible, as I hadn't heard many reviews of this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised that it was decent. The restaurant itself is pretty blah. There's really no theme and it smelled a little funky when we walked in. But they did have some dishes that were actually pretty good. There was a spicy bbq chicken that I really liked and there was the make your own pasta area. The kids section had standard fare but overall the selection was pretty good. They had a pretty big selection of desserts as well which were all quite good. I wouldn't necessarily go back for dinner anytime soon because the overall experience is "meh". But it wasn't bad if you can't get in anywhere else.
