I love Goofy's Kitchen. I have been eating here since 1992. It is my favorite place to eat - character meal or otherwise - in all of Disneyland Resort. I have rarely had any 'off' meals there or bad service/character interaction. I have found the food to be consistently great. The only reason I am not giving it a '10' on the scale is because the prices are on the high side, but that is the inherent problem with most character meals in general. I can easily see how it would be a challenge to justify paying so much money for a child to eat at Goofy's when they probably would not eat enough to justify the price and there are no 'off the menu' ordering options. For adults, however, the all-you-can-eat buffet (there is a character breakfast and dinner, but no lunch) is outstanding and the variety is great. Everyone should be able to find something to eat at Goofy's because there is so much to choose from. I personally prefer breakfast over dinner (not only because it is cheaper but because I like the breakfast food better). Aside from the standard breakfast fare and mini-Mickey waffles, you can get banana crepes, creme brulee French toast, Mickey-shaped cobbler, biscuits and gravy, croissants, mini-muffins (yummy!), various pastries and other specialty dishes. I can't even begin to list everything that is available. The bacon and fruit are exceptionally good and I am convinced they are sprinkled with some sort of Pixie Dust because they are addictive. The fruit is some of the freshest and juiciest I have ever tasted, and the bacon - which I never eat at home - ends up in a heaping pile on my plate because it is so delicious I have to load up! The coffee is hot and strong and the orange juice is sweet and refreshing. The servers are very prompt in refilling whatever you run out of. As for characters, the roster has changed a little over the years, but it seems that the current regular line-up features Ghef Goofy, Chip & Dale, Baloo and Pluto. Then there is a revolving cast of guest stars which appear on any given day, and they could include Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip, Jasmine and Aladdin, Belle, Snow White, the Genie, Captain Hook, Alice and the Mad Hatter and Minnie Mouse. This is a lively atmosphere where every so often, Goofy "bangs some pots and pans" to get the attention of the little ones in the restaurant to summon them up to the 'dance floor' and begin a rollicking Macarena session. Watching Baloo rotate his ample hips around to the music is very amusing. Otherwise, the characters come to your table at a good pace, but sometimes it can be fast and furious, to where you can barely get a bite of food in for fear a giant gray bear will engulf you in a hug in a split second. Other times, if the restaurant is a bit slower and there are fewer people to visit, the characters will make repeated visits to the same tables for more "quality time." Cast Members will come around periodically to ask if you want to buy the picture you take with a character (sometimes Pluto; sometimes Minnie) when you first walk into Goofy's, but the price of the picture is almost the same price as the meal itself (the picture is just over $30, whereas the off-peak breakfast is about $32). Anyway, if you can get past the price (AAA is accepted for discounts, as are Annual Passes), I think you will love Goofy's Kitchen. The food is great and the characters are fun.

We've eaten brunch and dinner at Goofy's. We're breakfast food loving people so it's no surprise that we preferred brunch, but, really, both are good.
Seemed like there were more many characters at dinner than brunch.
Service has been awesome both times. Lots of food to choose from and most of it is tasty.
An enthusiastic thumbs up from my family!

If you have kids, this is a great option. The characters are always around, the kids are invited to participate in dancing every few minutes, and the food is fun and abundant, too. I wouldn't say it's the best food anywhere, but it's very good and served in a great atmosphere.
One caution: if you let your kids eat what they want, there will be tummy aches to follow. When we were there, they served as many desserts as main dishes, including "Goofy's Birthday Cake" which was, literally, 80% frosting (as only Goofy can make it!). Don't eat here and plan too much activity right afterward (unless you're prepared to deny your kids the colorful and abundant sweets and deal with the fallout).

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Very kid-friendly, both in food and atmosphere Cons: Don't expect a picture with Goofy, although it's his kitchen.
We ate dinner at Goofy's Kitchen, and the kids loved it. There were tons of characters, especially an Alice who came around with lots of jokes.
The food was very kid-friendly, and my daughter loved the pb&j dessert pizza. The meal is served buffet style, and there are lots of finger foods and desserts for the kids to enjoy, and for your waistline to happily expand from.
I will say that the reason we ate here was that my friend's son loves Goofy and was eager to get a picture with him, only to find that Goofy doesn't take pictures at his own restaurant! So, of course we had a child in tears, and no amount of pleading moved the restaurant staff. The photographer did nicely bring out a "signed" picture of Goofy with the pictures bought of my daughter and Minnie for him, but it was still a huge dissapointment to him, especially since Goofy ran through the restaurant and was obviously there.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Really good food and many options as well as lots of charcaters for brunch(never done dinner) Cons: Can get very very loud!!!
This is the only character meal we have done so far, always great selections and very tasty food, character interaction is great and contrary to last review we have gotten pic with goofy just about every trip. Never tried dinner but love the brunch!!!

This has always been a family favorite. We enjoy all the choices the large buffet offers. We enjoy the character interaction & the kids love all the games/dancing they play.
I will say our last trip was a disappointment but am not ready to say this restaurant has slipped. The food was being refilled & changed out like they usually do & the characters were few & not as playful as normal. We left bummed out.....but this has not deterred us to schedule another meal our next trip. Everyone has off days & after having 5 very successful meals here.....I guess it was our turn for an off day....lol

Very friendly and went out of their way to make sure my friend (who uses an EVC and has a service dog) could get around easily. All the characters came around and signed our autograph books. When the characters noticed our service dog, they all took time to say "hi" to him as well.
We loved the food and went back for seconds.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Surprisingly good food. Great character interaction. Cons: Not cheap.
We are WDW regulars and always go Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Goofy's Kitchen is much, much better. The food was suprisingly good. Everything I tried I thought was tasty and of high quality. And since it is not as crowded the character interaction is much longer and more involved. Kids loved it (9 and 7), and come to think of it...so did mom and dad!!!!!

Hard to put the recommend this product on a "yes", but I couldn't really say no either.
Me and 5 friends enjoyed a dinner meal at Goofy's Kitchen. However, we got four free character meal vouchers, had to buy two more and got my annual pass discount on them and just split the cost of the two discounted meals 6 ways. So for us, it was a very cheap option.
And for the price we paid, we had a ton of fun. We all found lots of food we like. They had a delicous Sole, and I loved the Smoked Salmon, and steak was being sliced at a nice medium temperature. My party even enjoyed the PB&J Pizza and they Mac & Cheese pizza. There were things that people thought were only so-so, but it was a buffet. When we didn't like something after a bite or two, we didn't have to feel bad about not finishing it.
We got to meet Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Pluto and of course Goofy. All were fun, took time for photos and signatures, even though we were all adults.
But as we were enjoying our desserts, coffee and chocolate milks, we began discussing. We would definately come back for the price we paid, but none of us could really jusify paying full price for the meal, when we could almost go to Steakhouse 55 next door for a couple dollars more or enjoy Cafe Orleans for a few dollars less.

My DD (10) got 5 different character sigs and was delighted. Only con was we kept missing Pluto. He kept passing our section. We asked staff and waited and waited. We and a couple other tables in our area decided to just leave. It was still a great experience for DD. staff was very nice. I just had to request constant coffee refills.
