Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great all you can eat menu, good service, relaxing atmosphere, entertainment. Cons:
Although this is no longer a character meal, and the cupcakes have been removed from the included price and are an additional charge, this is still one of the best eateries in Disneyland. The food is delicious, the service has always been excellent (CM Carol who is a server, in particular), and the price is on par with the all you can eat menu. Located off the beaten path, Big Thunder Ranch also provides a much needed break from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the park and offers a relaxing atmosphere for lunch or dinner. An entertaining show including music and interaction are still included (although do not include characters), but are not performed at all times. Ask the check-in staff about the entertainment schedule.
Lunch is the way to go here, menu includes all you can eat barbecue chicken and ribs, baked beans, coleslaw, and cornbread. In addition to the lunch offerings, dinner includes sausage and corn on the cob, and begins service at 4pm. Drinks and dessert are at an additional cost. Children 2 and under are free, will be given a drink in a souvenir cup, and are welcome to eat from the family's portion.
As a local family who is in the parks often, we visit Celebration Roundup at Big Thunder Ranch nearly every trip and would most definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Disneyland Resort.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): The food was endless & finger licking good!! Cons: No longer a character meal.
Love the setting for this BBQ.....quaintly decorated picnic tables, fences & stage. The dinner comes with ribs, chicken, sausage, corn wheels, coleslaw, & cornbread muffins. This is an all-you-can-eat meal....so no need to leave hungry. The drinks are not included in the meal price & desserts are also extra. They do offer 2 family size desserts for $7.99 that would be the way to go versus ordering singles at up to $5.99 each.
They have a small little show for some singers. A bit corny but the kids loved it.
$273 was 7 adults, 3 kids, 7 drinks, 2 family desserts

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Excellent "all you care to eat" family style BBQ Cons: I left stuffed!
The Big Thunder Ranch BBQ is one of those hidden Disneyland treasures. The meals are served family style, meaning you all get ribs, chicken, beans, slaw, cornbread and drinks and plenty of all. The ribs here are different from other locations at the Disneyland Resort and they have a new "rub" that is excellent. There are several performers that provide songs and stories while you eat. The location is nicely placed in a wooded area (outdoor seating) but it can get a bit warm on summer days. This is a great location tucked away from the rest of the park and a good place to take a break and get full. Prices are a bit high, but on par with other sit down locations in the park. Service was fast and very friendly. Big Thunder Ranch BBQ is a great alternative to the regular park fare and is quite a treat. And the desserts are awesome!: Posted via eTicket
