Wine Country Trattoria is a charming little place to eat in California Adventure. We have always been seated right away - with or without a Priority Seating arrangement - because the restaurant did not seem to be terribly busy. The service has always been friendly and attentive. With the option of indoor or outdoor seating, we always choose outdoor - even in the 40-degree weather of a December night. If you are lucky and postioned at the right table at the right time, you can view whatever parade happens to be going by. For us, it was the Pixar Play Parade. Now, keep in mind that you will not be eye level with the parade. Rather, you are kind of looking down on it, but it is a good view and a nice suprise when you are just expecting to be eating. The server brings out a basket of garlic-cheese breadsticks and some sun dried tomato spread before your meal, and while the flavor of the breadsticks is good, they are mystifyingly cold. Now, in my mind, I am thinking, breadsticks should be warm (especially on a cold December night), and I suppose you could ask for them to be heated...but why wouldn't they be heated in the first place? I usually order the Meatball Sandwich, which generally is accompanied by a bit of pasta salad and some fruit as a side dish. I LOVE a good meatball sandwich and this one is adequate, but the mozzarella cheese on top should be melted and it is not. Again, I am sure you can ask for it to be melted, but that's a hassle. My friend ordered the generously-sized (translation: enormous) Pizzeta Salad, not realizing how big it would actually be. It was too much for even three of us to share at that point. It was a tower of salad. Though I have not tried this yet, there is a tempting orange sorbet served at Wine Country Trattoria which is served in an orange peel and looks like it would be excellent for cooling the palate on a hot summer day.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great location and food Cons: expensive
We have eaten here twice. The first time we got the wine paring meal. This was excellent. I enjoyed all of the wines (except the wine recommended for the dessert - it was much too sweet). The atmosphere is wonderful. We ate outside and watched the people pass by.
I haven't been here in several years so I am not sure if the quality is the same but I thoroughly enjoyed it when we were there.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): World of Color Preferred Seating Included Cons: Below Average Food and Wine
The dinner was applebees quality and the $28 glass of wine was bad. I was thoroughly dissapointed until we made it to preferred seating for the World of Color with a glass of sparkling wine for the that was fantastic. Stay away from WCT unless it's packaged with world of color preferred seating.
