I have not been able to experiance it myself, but my friend has enjoyed this location before. He really just went to have a beer and enjoy the view of the pier. He said he really felt relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): The food is delicious, drinks were perfect, the setting is peaceful and fun Cons: No set opening hours cause confusion
We showed up at 1 p.m. The Cove Bar was closed. There were other people waiting to go in. The nice hostess working at Ariel's Grotto was clearly exasperated with the Cove Bar staff and told me that they "open when they feel like it." with an eyeroll. She went to have a talk with them and they promised her 1:30. We came back at 1:30. Still closed but, after a bathroom stop, the doors had opened.
All the finger food was yummy, especially the famous lobster nachos. This was probably our favorite meal on our trip since we like nibblies anyway. Mom and dad got drinks, the boys watched California Screamin' cars take off over and over and the construction crews work on the lagoon. Ah, perfection! I can't wait to come back when the lagoon is finished.
