Taste Pilots Grill is a hidden gem in California Adventure, I think. While the menu is not terribly vast, the food and portion sizes are good, and the service is pretty quick form the time you place your oder and pay to when it actually arirves in your hands. I was particularly fond of the BBQ Chicken Sandwich (which has a catchy name, but I have forgotten). The sandwich was flavorful and the chicken breast was tender, but there was a little too much sauce and bun, and not enough chicken for my liking. The chicken breast was not large enough to cover the bun, so I had droplets of BBQ sauce that could not be contained falling everywhere. There is a bountiful condiment bar, where you can load you burger or sandwich with all kinds of things. I went for the onions, so then I had onion pieces along with BBQ sauce droplets on my table. The sandwich comes with a side of the wonderful criss cut fries (think round and wrinkled like Ruffles Potato Chips but soft like French fries! Yum!), and at some point I got the bright idea to load the criss cut fries onto my sandwich to give it more texture and substance. This was a good and bad idea. It was much messier than before, but the texture and substance I was aiming for paid off! Taste Pilots Grill is not much to look at as far as eye candy - it has that appropriate airplane hangar feel with drab, dull colors. But one cool little atmospheric touch that I realized as I was trying to wipe the BBQ sauce from my eyebrows with a Kleenex Splash 'n' Go wipe, is that the songs which play continuously as almost ambient noise are all space or aviation-themed!! Being a child of the '70s and '80s, I was thoroughly enjoying the classic rock fare. Elton John's "Rocket Man," David Bowie's "Space Oddity" and Steve Miller's "Fly Like an Eagle" were just some of the space/flying songs I heard, and it was a nice complement to a nice, albeit messy, meal!

Taste Pilot's is usually crowded, so it can be hard to find a seat, but it is crowded because it is good. We really like that you get to add your own fixings to your sandwiches and burgers--that way if you like them loaded you can add extra toppings and if you like things plain you don't have to request that things are left off. The kids meals seem to be winners for the kids too. Some people rave about the ribs here and they are pretty good. I like the bbq sandwich best. The fries are good here too.

Test Pilot's is my favorite place to eat in DLR. The burgers are great, and as has been mentioned, there is a very nice fixings bar.
My favorite item on the menu is the Full-Throttle Fries, which are the waffle fried smothered in chili, cheese, sour cream, and a bunch of other yummy things. This is definitely a meal in itself, not terribly expensive, and so tasty!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Kosher food available, cool theme Cons: Bathroom too far away
There are kosher meals available here. That makes it a winner for me. Plus, you can get your meal and take it right outside to the Pixar Play Parade route to catch the parade with dinner. Get Soarin' Over California FastPass before eating - it's right next door.

We all love this one in my family as everyone likes the topping bar, I love the BBQ chicken sandwhich!!!

Husband and I shared the X-5 ribs. They were very good and meaty and not too fatty. BBQ sauce on them was tasty and tangy. The fries were good, and the slaw was crisp and yummy. Daughter got the kids burger. I tried a bite and thought it was decent for a theme park burger. Cheese on it was cheddar and not standard American. She liked her fries, too. Line moved quickly and service was friendly. We'll definitely consider this a good CS option when we're in DCA.

One of the best places to eat at DCA! I love the X3 ribs (substitute onion rings and add ranch dression). My daughter loves their cheddar burger. The restaurant needs more seating, but is otherwise one of the best choices at DCA!

Reasonable price. We all got burgers and liked the fixings.
Good place for a quick meal!
