Positive aspects of the product (pros): Short walk to entrance Cons: needs some updating on the outside
Get the Premium Room. We stayed here after a stay the previous year at the Candy Cane Inn (thought that was ok, this was better). Plenty of parking, elevator to 3rd-floor room. Quiet.
Premium room was VERY comfortable - we had room to spare WITH our double-stroller opened up, 2 queen beds, and all our bags for 2 adults, 1 2-1/2 year old, 1 4-month old. TONS of pillows on the beds, clean, new carpeting, everything seemed "fresh" and semi-modern. Good water pressure in shower. Only complaint was the TV turn-on system. Remote didn't turn it on alone, also needed to turn it on at the panel. We've just made our reservation for the May to stay there 2 nights - premium room, of course. Breakfast is toast/bagel/donut/2 kinds of cereal, nothing more, but adequate to start a Disney day. It took ~15-minutes to get past the bus traffic, get through security, then cross over to Downtown Disney. That is on the other side of the entrances.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Proximity to DL maingate (short 5 minute walk!), fairly cheap rates (we spend every waking moment in DL!), free continental breakfast (nothing special, but it saves some cash!), nice pool, and free parking! Cons: It's not the DL Hotel :(
We have stayed at a few different hotels on Harbor. This is by far our favorite. It's close, cheap, and clean (my criteria!). Love that there's still free parking. They offer incentives from time to time (free room upgrades and free gas!).
