Positive aspects of the product (pros): Location Cons: Elevator is very slow
I stayed at the Carousel Inns in early March 2011. I stayed in a 2 queen room. The beds are very comfortable. The room is a standard sized room, so with the beds, table, chairs & large armoire (cabinet for tv, micro, fridge & drawers)...there wasn't much room for moving around, especially after getting all your stuff in the room.
The bathroom area has a large sliding door for privacy between the bedroom/main area & bathroom. This was a nice feature if someone wanted to get up before everyone else & get ready for the day.
The staff here are very friendly!!
The 2 things that lowered my rating was the elevator being soooooooo slow!! We were on the 4th floor & using the stairs wasn't a big deal, except after being at the parks all day. You'd push the button for the elevator & it would un-light & you'd do it again & again & again....finally getting tired of waiting & using the stairs.
The other is their FREE valet parking, that you pay $8 a day for. If you want quick & easy access to your car, this will prove to be an issue for you. You have to let the valet retrieve your car & park it.
I would stay here again (maybe ask for a room on the lower floors). The location is a minutes walk to the pedestrian crossing & the room was clean!
