Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great room with comfy bed, big TV, coffee shops nearby Cons: The shower had no light, had to leave the curtain open to see.
Our last stay here was in 2008 and we were there at Christmas time. We were in a king bed room, and we loved it. The room was nice and cute and the bed was big and fluffy and comfy- one of the best beds that I have had while staying in Anaheim. There was also a really big flat screen TV and the room was very clean and felt new. Most walking distance hotels are just sort of plain motel style hotels and this one has a little personality and nicer rooms (even though it is still motel style with the doors opening up to the outside, not an indoor corridor hotel). The only weird thing was that in the King room, we had a bathroom with just a shower (no bathtub, which was fine for us, but check if you need that with kids what your room has), but the shower was all granite and went floor to ceiling with a very dark shower curtain so you could barely see when you were in the shower- so beware while shaving legs! The walk from this hotel may look far, but it is not bad because you just cross the street and cut through the Grand Californian hotel out onto Downtown Disney and then to the parks! It is longer than the walk from the hotels directly across the street on Harbor Blvd., but it is about equal to the walk from the Disneyland Hotel. There are also several coffee shops right next to the hotel (some open 24hrs) that you can get meals at that are less crowded than the Harbor Blvd. restaurants. We didn't use the pool or their restaurants, but both looked nice. The staff was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again, and you can often find really good deals on all of the hotel booking sites so search around before you book.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): great suite w/ separate room for kids Cons: no elevator, heater/ ac unit was a little loud
Okay so I know I am not the only one staying here, haha, but I thought I would add in a more recent review since I just stayed again.
We had a Casita suite that had one queen bed and then a separate room with a daybed in it. We set up our pack n'play in here for our son and it was perfect as we could shower in the evenings and do stuff without waking him up.
The room was very clean and nice looking. Housekeeping did a good job while we were there. We did have a tub in our room this time. The bed was VERY comfortable. We requested a first floor room, but it was busy on our check in day and we didn't get it. We also had other family members in our group and they weren't able to put any of their rooms near us so we were all spread out. It was hard being on the second floor with a baby and a stroller and no elevator. At night he would fall asleep on the walk back and we would have to wake him up at the stairs and carry him and the stroller up. This was a big pain even in the mornings getting down too.
I didn't hear much, but my parents had a room with a connecting door in it and they said they could hear the family next to them loud and clear in the mornings.
They did have a laundry room with about 4 washers and dryers that were open from 7-10 and were about $3 to wash and $3 to dry. We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was good and the prices weren't too bad. I enjoyed my food, but it does get pretty crowded at breakfast about an hour before park opening.
They do have a lot of extra fees (but so do most of the hotels around Disneyland). So educate yourself before you go and consider that when looking at prices. They have fees for wireless, parking, and a small resort fee. If you know before you go then there won't be any problems at check out.
We would still recommend the Anabella and we had a nice stay. The walk was again just fine and the lobby had nice Christmas decorations.
