I love Pirates of the Caribbean! It's a great story and you become immersed into the setting almost at once. The updates with Davy Jones and Capt. Jack bring another layer of the story to the attraction. It's a must-see for anyone visiting WDW.

Classic Disney! Perfect Disney! It's fun to note the differences between the WDW Pirates and the DL Pirates. This is just a classic Disney ride, Jack Sparrow actually added to the theme, unlike in many rehabs...I think it made the ride even better. While it's hard to get off the ride and take your kids thru the pirate store without stopping any buying! We love Pirates. The cue is fun as well, we like to take different sides just to see everything.

One of my top 5 rides at WDW. Classic Disney atmosphere, it feels like you are getting ready to set sail with Captain Jack on the Black Pearl.

This is always a must do, it is classic Disney at its best. I have always heard that the one in Disneyland is better but I have no problem with this one at all.
I think that they did a good job of incorporating the movies, Depp is good in the places they added him, he is not overshadowing at all. The mist at the begining is great as well. Make sure you check out the ride, if you have never been on it before go on a couple of times so you can catch all the details.

This is a classic "Walt" ride!!! The audio animatronics are awesome (the auctioneer) and has a great story line. I like it that it is dark and cool, and it is a great place to escape the Florida heat and sun. There are parts that may scare young children, but if they like pirates they will love it!

GREAT Disney World attraction. I just love this ride, it is a Disney World classic and the recent updates have made it even more entertaining, from the entrance to the occassional Jack Sparrows. I love the theming and it really makes you feel like you are in the world of pirates for a bit. Don't miss this one. This is a fast pass attraction, but the line does move fast.

I know I am in the minority on this attraction, but this ride is NOT the life for me! I have major motion sickness issues, and the drop in the dark is too much for me. I also do not like the theming; I'm not interested in pirates at all and I find most of the scenes (women in chains?!) offensive.

Another must do at Disney. This is classic Disney at its finest with an update to incorporate the Pirates movies. The Johnny Depp figures are great! A little too scary for the younger ones. One small drop in the dark. You won't get too wet--maybe a little splash back.

What can I say, a classic! I have memories(1980, 1990)where the line was literally an hour wait but it always felt worth it. A strange thing to me is that nowadays wait time is 15-30 mins and some of the enchantment of the ride is lost. Strange, I know!

There's really nothing wrong with this ride, I just find it boring.....there are some non-thrill rides that I do enjoy, such as the jungle cruise, but this one really puts me to sleep.....and I think I find it a bit creepy. I'm a fan of the movies, I just don't get enough interaction on this ride.

I can't give the ride a 10 because there's a musty smell that I'd really rather do without but I guess with that much water there really isn't any way to avoid it. The addition of the Captain Jack character is seamlessly added and quite enjoyable. I love this ride. We go on multiple times during our stay.

The POTC is an example of a ride update that has been done really well. The animatronic Johnny Depp is very well done and very life-like. We really love the mist projection at the start of the ride - how do they do that?! This right is appropriate for all ages, and is gentle enough for most anyone to ride. This is a definite must see!

Pirates of the Caribbean is the definition of a CLASSIC Disney attraction. This is a must do for all that visit Disney World; however, the loud noises and dark atmosphere may frighten small children. Pay attention to the queue most people are filing into (Pirates has two queueing areas) and enter the opposite one, the wait is usually shorter.

Disney rides don't get any better than this. It's classic, yet the updates fit in seamlessly. The themeing of this ride sets the bar. From the entrance, through the queue, to the ride, not many other disney rides come close. And it's a ride the whole family can enjoy together.
